Sober Kickoff 2025!
UNF Umeå invites all students at Umeå University to a sober kickoff filled with fun activities.
All students, no matter the age, program or Swedish ability are welcome, completely for free!
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: the service we use to send out updates via text sometimes wont work with international numbers. Use a Swedish number or if you do not have one contact us through our Instagram page @unfumea!
You need to register to participate in some activities!
Some activities require you to register in order to participate, if that is the case then there will be a form for registration.
Please give notice at least a couple of hours before any activity, and if food is mentioned include any allergy or food sensitivity in your notice.
You can also register for activities by signing up for text updates and responding with a text message, or by messaging our Instagram account @unfumea.

Kubb on campus!
We play the Swedish game of ”kubb” and other outdoor games. Swedish ”fika” will also be provided. If it rains we instead meet indoors at Lindellhallen and play board games.

Nature walk and grill!
We take a walk in Gammlias beautiful nature and grill some hotdogs and marshmallows.
Registration is required if you want to be sure that you can get a hotdog.
When: Saturday 27/9 11:00-15:00
Where: Gammlia, we meet outside Västerbottens Museum
Board game night!
We play board games together with the local board games group ”Sävspel”.
When: Thursday 2/10 18:00-22:00
Where: Klossen, Ålidhem
Trivia-walk and dinner!
We meet at the lake by the campus, and do a trivia walk across town until we get to UNFs meeting place, where we will cook dinner.
Registration is required if you want dinner.
When: Friday 3/10. 16:00 – 23:00

Movie night and alcohol free drink studio!
We meet at our space and mix our own alcohol free drinks, and then watch a movie!
When: Wednesday 8/10, 18:00-22:00
Where: Skolgatan 48, UNF Umeås meeting place
Mario kart tournament!
We end the kickoff with a Mario kart tournament! We begin with cooking and and eating dinner, and then we see who is the most skilled in Mario kart.
Registration is required if you want dinner.

Bonus activity: Board game night 2: the sequel!!
We have been asked to participate in a board game night together with IOGT-NTO in Umeå!
No registration needed!

We have booked time slots for volleyball, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, etc. No registration is required, just come by whenever you want 🙂
